ANA Home Tour-March 4th, 2018

Hi Neighbours!

It’s that time of year again for our Neighbourhood House Tour!

Please book your calendars for Sunday March 4th.  Tour will be from 1 to 4pm.

Tickets on sale – Monday Feb. 12th.  Tickets are $20 each. Watch your email or check online for order details.  Only 125 tickets will be sold! (And we sold out last year in a week!!)

100% of our proceeds will go to benefit a local charity – Thresholds Homes & Supports.

Hey Neighbours! Don’t forget about our Annual General Meeting tonight at 7PM The Aud in the Subscribers Lounge (2nd floor). We will be doing an update on the activities from the last 365 days and looking forward to discussing what we can do for the next 365 days! Light refreshments to be provided! Auditorium Kitchen Tour 2017 – Jan.29th 1 to 4 pm

Hello Neighbours,
To start the new year with a fun activity some neighbours in the neighbourhood have organized a “Kitchen Tour” of some spectacular houses in the neighbourhood!!

Here is the information:

Neighbourhood Kitchen Tour –   Sunday Jan. 29th 1 to 4pm

Tickets are $20 in advance or if any are left – $25 at the door.

Visit 10 unique kitchens in our beautiful neighbourhood.Only 100 tickets will be sold.  All proceeds to Haven House – Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region.

ANA Kitchen Tour’17 – Sunday Jan. 29th 1-4 pm

Save the Date! A kitchen tour in the the neighbourhood is in the works! As we’re all aware, our neighbourhood is filled to the brim with beautiful homes. Many of our neighbours have put lots of work into them yet still keeping the charm that our area is so well known for. Three wonderful ladies are organizing this tour, $20 a ticket with the money going to Haven House which is a local Women’s shelter. January 29th! 1-4PM! More details to come.

Annual General Meeting – Wednesday June 15th at 7pm at the Pavilion in the Park

Hello Neighbours,

Join us for the upcoming ANA  Annual General Meeting on Wednesday June 15th at 7pm at the new Pavilion in Knollwood Park (Stirling Ave & East Ave , behind Sheppard’s P. School) .
Come and check out the new bricks at the Pavilion. Refreshments will be served – including gourmet donuts from Jimmy’s Minis!
Bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket. If it is raining it will be moved to the Subscribers Lounge at the Auditorium.

Topics will include important updates and discussion about what’s happening in our community:

– Neighbourhood safety update – Waterloo Regional Police Service
– Update from Councillor Sarah Marsh
– Community dog park – Are you interested in exploring the possibility of a small off-leash park in our neighbourhood?
– LRT stop at Borden and Charles – What this means to our neighbourhood
– Update on the proposed crosswalk on Weber at Stirling or Fairview
– How to start new activites in our neighbourhood
– Election of board members for 2016

Encourage your neighbours to join us. 
Consider taking a board position or helping to start or run new activities.
