Update The revitalization of Knollwood Park has been taking shape over the past year. The City of Kitchener, the Kitchener Rangers, and many individuals and businesses from our community have contributed funds and volunteered time to improve the beauty and design of our park. Here’s what we’ve accomplished so far: • New trail • 49 new trees • Modernization of the sports field • New garbage containers Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the Knollwood Park pavilion. We’ve received $25,000 from the Kitchener Rangers, $10,000 from a Festival of Neighbourhoods grant and over $11,000 from neighbours. Your generosity has been enormous! Thank you to local architect David Thompson for donating his time and talent to create the design and oversee the construction of the pavilion. There’s still time to donate More funds are needed to finish the pavilion. New donations will pay for the addition of brick to the pavilion columns. Donations of any size are welcome. You’ll receive a tax receipt for a donation of $20 or more. Donate by August 27th for Special Recognition Donate $100 or more by August 27th, 2015, and you’ll also receive recognition on a special sign that will be installed in the park in September.
